If you’re looking to learn to make CC or just find out how to edit something aboutyour game this is a good place to start. My name is Frankie and I am 25 and live in Germany :) I am currently doing my phD in in a Cancer Research Lab :)
I hope this helps you some ? I’ll drop a few other tutorials to non-cc related tips that have helped me belowĪlverdine sims Reshade Tutorial- Linked because even if the main shaders are too much for your PC to handle, using at least one of its AA (Anti-Aliasing) settings helps the game run faster becuas you can turn off the in-game one lolĪlverdine Sims tutorial for Borderless Gaming in windowed mode - Windowed mode is so much easier for me and this allows you to use it with no taskbar or window-border so your game has full resolution.Īlso, is a HUGE resource for tutorials of any kind. It rids the package files of any unneeded things within them, making the toll easier on your game. Compressing your CC makes your pacakge files ass small as possible. The last important thing I can think of would be COmpressing your CC. You can find the Sims 3 Pack Multi-Extractor HERE and The Sims 3 Custard Program HERE
The rest of the CC from the house you can install like regular package files and you’r done. So you when it is extracted, take that file, rename it to whatever you want and then stick it in the Sims 3 Library folder under Electronic Arts. The first file you see in custard will always be the house. For that I use Sims 3 Custard which let’s you look into and manage. For houses, the extractor will export the house and all its CC so you need to know which package file would be the house. You can do the same with houses but the steps are just a bit different.
package file with the Sims 3 Pack Multi-Extractor. The launcher is just…its stressful and I hate it lol. You can find CCMagic HERE and an introductory tutorial HEREĪnother way I manage my CC is I NEVER use the EA launcher unless I’m installing a pattern, EA store content or a world. Merging is very important because it means less files for your game read which means faster loading times and smoother gameplay.
But most importantly it can merge your CC for you so that you don’t have to do it manually with S3PE. CC Magic can help you organize your CC, make and manage collections for ingame use, and remove and add CC whenever you want. I organize my CC in both regular folders on my computerĪnd in the program CC Magic. Organizing your CC into categories allows you to know what’s in your game and how to take it out if needed. But it all depends on how you prefer to organize things. I organize mine by Mods, Hair, Makeup, Clothing, Accessories, skin, etc. Organizing your game all depends on your own preferences but you should at least have separate categories for the different types of CC you have. I always make sure to have my CC organized, compressed and merged for max efficiency. Hellooo! Ok so the main things to worry about when making your game less laggy would be managing and organizing your CC.
